camera angles, lighting, perspective, and more
One day, I was watching my stepdad work in Daz Studios, creating scenes and rendering them to look like pictures.
Before that, the only thing I used to do in Daz was mess around, make scenes, and pose models. I never rendered them. I really enjoyed playing around and learning the program; it made me happy.
After watching my stepdad, I realized I wanted to learn more and create more complex pictures like my stepdad does.
It looked like a lot of fun, so I got interested and started asking him questions. That’s when he suggested that I make a simple scene with only one model in an hour or less and told me to tell him when I was done.
I started to think about what I should create.
I decided to make a girl walking in a forest. By positioning the camera at the right angle, I made it look like someone or something was looking up at her. My stepdad said that he liked where I had my camera angled. He told me that when the camera looks up at someone or something, it looks like the subject has a lot of power. His comment made me feel proud because that’s what I wanted the scene to look like.
Below is the scene.
I love learning about camera angles, lighting, perspective, and so much more. It makes me feel more intelligent and creative when I make the pictures.
My stepdad showed me the render settings, and I wrote them down so I would remember them. Then, he let me click the Render button; it was really exciting! Later, I started making more pictures and rendering them.
I enjoy working with my stepdad and doing the same thing as he is doing.
Check out the other scenes I created below.
Thanks for reading; I hope you enjoyed it!
