So far, I absolutely adore the book The Railway Children.
I am positive that their father will return to his family at the Three Chimneys.
I was shocked to read that Roberta, Peter, and Phyllis’s father were sentenced to five years of penal servitude. Peter and Phyllis did not know the news; only Roberta and her mother knew and believed their father was innocent.
Their mother suspected that someone had put the papers on their father’s desk because someone was jealous of their father.
I can’t wait for the family to get evidence that their father did not do it, and I also hope that they find the real victim.
When their father returns to the Three Chimneys, everyone will be very happy to have the whole family together again. The kiddos would also love to show their father the railway and introduce him to their friends.
I have enjoyed learning about Roberta (Bobbie), Peter, Phyllis, and their friends.
I am excited to learn more about them when the story gets more in-depth.
I love the adventure so far and am ready to continue reading the story.
