If I were to travel the world

If I were to travel the world, my first transportation option would be by plane. My next choice of transportation would be by train and cruise ship.

I would start in Denver at DIA, then fly to New York City and land at JFK airport in Queens, New York, which would take about 5 hours to fly. I would rent a hotel room for the night by the airport, go to bed around 8 PM, and wake up around 6. After breakfast, I would go to the JFK Airport and fly to Rome. That would take about 8 hours. I would spend a few days in Rome, visiting Vatican Museums, the Gardens of Vatican City, taking a tour of the city, visiting St. Peter’s Basilica, visiting the Sistine Chapel, walking around parks, Receiving a Papal blessing, sightseeing, trying new foods, and more.

My next destination would be Antalya, which would take about 5 hours to reach. I would spend the night there and then fly to Dubai, which would take about 4 hours. I would spend a couple of days there exploring the city.

Then, after breakfast, I will fly to New Delhi, which takes about three hours. I will spend a couple of days there and see what the city has to offer.

In the morning, I would fly to Hong Kong and be there in about 5 hours. That same day, I would fly to Tokyo, and the flight time would be about 6 hours. I would spend the night in Tokyo, fly to Honolulu in the morning after a filling breakfast, and land at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). I would get there in about 7 hours. (HNL is also known as Honolulu International Airport. It is one of the busiest, largest, and most gorgeous airports.) I would definitely want to spend at least a week in Hawaii. I want to go to the ocean, visit volcanoes, whale watching, luau, zipline, helicopter rides, hula dancing, and soooooo much more!!!!

I would be disappointed when the time comes when I have to leave, but I would never forget the awesome adventure I would have!

I would fly to California, land at San Francisco International Airport, and get there in about 5 hours. I plan to spend about 3 days there exploring.

Finally, I would fly back to my home state (which is Colorado) and land in Denver at DIA, and the flight time would be about 3 hours.

That whole trip would take me about 30 days, factoring in possible delays.

If I were to choose another means of transportation, I would go by train or cruise ship.

I would start in Colorado and travel by train to Massachusetts, which would take about 42 hours. Then, from Massachusetts, I would go to Rome by cruise ship, which would take about 30 days. Then, I would go from Rome to Incheon by train, which would take about 15 hours. Then, I would cross the ocean from Incheon to California by cruise ship, which would total about 15 hours. Lastly, I would travel back to Colorado by train, and that would be about 3 weeks.

I estimate that it would take me about 60 days (1,440 hours) with delays.

Those would be my two crazy adventures traveling around the world by plane, then by train and cruise ship.

Please read my upcoming posts, and if you haven’t read the previous then go back and read them!🙂
