One of my favorite books is called Enchanters End Game.
This is the fifth and final book of a fantasy series called The Belgariad by David Eddings.
Some important good characters include: sorcerers: Belgarath, Polgara, and Belgarion. Belgarath can get cranky sometimes; when he’s not, he can be a very nice and wholesome old man. Belgarath and Polgara are thousands of years old. Polgara is usually a very sweet aunt to Belgarion (Garion) and likes to bug her father (Belgarath) with “What if ” questions. Garion is a sweet teenage boy who is learning more about himself over the years. Imperial Princess Ce’Nedra is a stubborn, sometimes sweet teenage girl who likes to drive people crazy especially Garion who she has a crush on and sometimes it doesn’t seem like it at all.
Some of the evil characters include: the evil god Torak with whom Garion has to fight. The Murgos, and the Mallorean that all of the good guys have to fight because they all get in the way to slow down or stop the good guys plan.
Some of my favorite parts of the series were in book three, The Magician’s Gambit, when Garion and all of his companions were leaving to go somewhere. Ce’Nedra was not allowed to go with them. When Garion was on his way out, she ran up to him, kissed him on her tiptoes, and said, “You must be careful.” Then she kissed him again and ran back into the house crying.
Another time was in book four, The Castle of Wizardry, when Garion, Belgarath, and Silk (also known as Prince Khelder, a thief and a spy) snuck away in the middle of the night without anyone knowing to find and awaken Torak so Garion could fight him once and for all. When Polgara woke up and saw the letter they wrote for her so she wouldn’t worry, she got mad and started destroying everything in sight.
I love this series so much, and I recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy books or wants to try something new!
This is a must read series!!!
