Genre is a category of artistic work, such as music or literature, defined by similarities in form, style, ot subject matter.
Some genres include comedy, fantasy, autobiography, historical fiction, and science fiction.
All of my favorite books are fantasy fiction. Some of my favorite book series are The Belgariad (5 books) and its sequel, The Malloreon (5 books), both by David Eddings. I also enjoyed The Elenium (3 books) by David Eddings. Another fiction book is Inca Gold by Clive Cussler. It is a Dirk Pitt adventure, and it is super funny while serious. Sometimes, while reading, you would be sitting on the edge of your seat.
As you can see, I really enjoy reading fiction books. When I read any of my fun books, I will likely read a fiction book.
