Short Story

It was the middle of fall, and there was a small village with 60 hungry people in the middle of a forest. They all would go hunting with their bows and arrows, but after the rough spring, all of their equipment was ruined.

In the village, there was a teenage girl named Norah. She was 18 years old, 5’6”, had brown hair, and blue eyes, and was the most beautiful girl that anyone had ever seen. What made her even more beautiful, was that she was so modest, and so caring she sometimes didn’t know how beautiful she really was. She loved doing different tasks to make sure that her village was happy. Today was the day to do the biggest task that the village needed to survive.

One day, her father went to her with some bad news. He said that the village needed an archery shop now, or all of the people would not get food and would starve to death. Norah said that she would start making the archery shop immediately. She went outside and tried to find a place to build the shop.

She didn’t have the slightest clue where to build it, so she created a meeting with all of the villagers to help her decide on where to build the archery shop. After an hour of discussion, they all agreed on where the archery shop should be.

After finding a place to build the shop, and thinking about how she would start to build it, she realized that she did not have any of the materials that she needed.

She went and asked everyone if they had the materials that she needed to start building. Some said that they had screws and screwdrivers, and others said that they had some nails and hammers. That was all of the material that she needed to secure the wood together.

The only problem that she had was that no one had any wood that she could use to build the shop with, they only had small pieces, and that would not be helpful at all.

So Norah went out into the forest to go and find all of the wood that she needed to build the shop with. She made many trips bringing the wood from the forest into their village, and after a very hard day of lots of work, she had all of the material to start building the archery shop.

In the morning, she got right to work. She started making the base and the sides of the shop. After all of that was completed, it was time to sleep.

The next morning, Norah got right to work again. This time all she needed to do was build the roof. She needed help with that part because she was not tall enough to build it.

For an hour, she was thinking about how she could build the roof on her own, but she just could not think of any logical way of doing it. So she went to Aaron’s house to ask him if he could help her with making the roof.  Aaron is the tallest guy in the village. He is 19 and is 6 feet tall. He has blond hair and dark blue eyes.

He said that he would help her finish making the roof on one condition. He wanted to help her finish making the shop altogether. After one really, really long day of hard work, the roof was complete.

Aaron and Norah stayed up almost all night, painting the shop and filling it with merchandise. In the morning, everyone came out of their little houses and was amazed at how the shop looked.

The town needed an archery shop, so they went to a girl named Norah. She went to many different people to see if they had the material that she needed. They didn’t have the material, so she went into the forest to gather wood to make the shop. After making the base of the shop and all of the walls of the shop, she needed help with finishing making the roof of the shop, so she went to the tallest man in the village, named Aaron, and she asked him to help her to finish making the roof. He helped her, and within 5 days, they had a very nice-looking archery shop.

After all of the hard work that Norah and Aaron put into the archery shop, all of the people in the village were amazed by how good it looked and how fast it was built. Everyone was able to get all of their equipment fixed, and in gratitude, the villagers went and brought a very nice elk back for Norah and Aaron. Norah and Aaron were very happy and proud of all of the work that they did together.
